Here’s a rundown of my week.
Punch the Monkey
Punch the monkey can suck it.
I’m glad his mother and troop abandoned him.
They did such because Punch is a jerk.
He always has been and probably always will be.
I’m Gayne Young and I know things.

F1 stars that gal who played Julius Ceasar’s sister on Rome.
In this movie, she plays a wind expert who builds a combat car for Brad Pitt who is following the Hero’s Journey to a T. Despite the fact that she’s twenty years younger than Brad, wind gal ends up sleeping with him because he’s freaking Brad Pitt. Mr. Pitt wins all the races he’s supposed to win then leaves the team to race down in Baja. Wind gal says she understands Brad’s leaving and goes back to designing race cars and having damn nice hair.
I’m Gayne Young and this concludes my take on F1, actress Kerry Condon, Brad Pitt, and the Hero’s Journey as used in cinema.
Oreo’s
Truth.
If you’re an adult and you sign up to bring dessert to an office luncheon and show up with Oreo’s, you need to be beat.
Seriously. I mean like within an inch of your life.
It’s called adulting. Do it.

Father Knows Best
Lauren Ann Chapin of Father Knows Best died yesterday, February 24, 2026 and while I would never exploit her death for my own gain....here’s a picture of her holding my latest book.
Lauren always loved my writing and was an ardent supporter.
In fact, her last words were, “I’ve always loved Gayne’s work. I’m an ardent supporter.”
Goodbye Lauren.
