Another Mile Swim
I was accosted by a mean old man following my mile swim today.
He saw me taking a selfie in the locker room.
“What the hell are you doing?! You can’t take a selfie in here. You ain’t no Car-dash-I-Un!”
What is said is true. I’m not a Car-dash-I-Un. Thus, today’s “after” pic was taken in the parking lot. Sorry old man!

Mint Iced Tea
I lived down the hall from a guy named Jake (name changed) in the dorm at Lon Morris College.
Once, while drinking iced tea, Jake boasted that he and his family had invented drinking tea with mint. He said his parents had a mint plant on their porch and one afternoon his dad plucked a couple leaves and put them in his tea. He thought it tasted great and told his family. Soon, everyone in the family was drinking iced tea with mint. Somehow this secret made it to Lipton and they stole the idea. Jake said his dad thought about suing Lipton but decided not to.
I thought this was probably one of the most bizarre (and obviously not true) stories I’d ever heard and made note of it in a journal. Seriously? Your family invented mint in iced tea?!
