Week of August 3, 2026
Here’s a rundown of my week.
Shelly
Shelly Stevens, 23, is the waitress at Sirens on beautiful Lake Amistad in my Jett Turner Misadventure Series (Three books out and the fourth coming soon).
Shelly’s not the brightest gal in the world but is funny, a great friend, and owns a Keith Haring original. Well, she did until one scratch from her cat cost the insurance company $2 million.
Read more about Shelly by heading over to Amazon today.
Hunter
I wrote about Hunter S. Thompson smuggling ivory for Field Ethos this week.
It’s a crazy story.
Powder
I swam three miles this week and never once used powder.
Patch
A friend sent me the above this week.
It’s supposed to be me.
It kind’a looks like me.
Maybe I should make patches of the above and give them out.
Nah.
Random Book Video
I make these.
they’re supposed to help me sell books.
This one is promoting Tiger Tales from the Acuña Cartel: A Jett Turner Misadventure, Book 1.
Paper Towels
Scoff at me if you like, but paper towels were one hell of an invention. And I am proud to use them.
Fiber Needs
Yes, it has come to this.
Every night.
Ugh.
Laredo Rose appears in my Jett Turner Misadventure Series (Three books out and the fourth coming soon).
